Noon - 3 pm: Food Vendors/Artists may begin booth set up.
3 pm - Dusk: Food Vendors/Artist Exhibits open.

3 pm: 2008 Helper Arts and Music Festival Begins!!

6 pm: Plein Air Competition ends. All work must be submitted.
7 pm - 9pm: Gallery Stroll Begins in Historic Downtown Helper buildings. Guided gallery tour of local, visiting, emerging, youth and Plein Air artists. Silent Plein Air Auction.

8 am - 8:30 am Late registration/Sign-in for 5K Race at Helper Pavillion, 100 West near Parkway. Runners shuttled to starting line in Spring Canyon.
8:30 am 5K race begins. Finish line on Helper Parkway

8 am - 9 am: Sculpture Slap sign-in, sculpture stand check-out and armature approval.
9 am - 3 pm: Competition takes place.
3 pm - 4 pm: Judging occurs.
4 pm - 9 pm: Sculpture on exhibit.

8:30 am - 10 am: Car and Cycle Fest setup and sign-in.
10 am - 4 pm: Vehicles exhibited on south Main Street

8 am - 10 am: Plein Air Judge's Private Viewing.
10 am - 9 pm: Plein Air Exhibit Open.
6:45 pm Final bids in Plein Air Silent Auction taken. Auction closes at 7 pm.

7 pm: Helper "American Idol" final round begins on Main Street Stage

7 pm - 9pm: Artists Reception as part of Gallery Stroll in Historic Downtown Helper buildings.
8:30: Awards ceremony for Plein Air, Sculpture Slap, Images of Carbon County and Youth Art Competitions.
