Emerging Artists

This is an opportunity for artists who are beginning their art careers and have limited gallery experience to gain exposure. The exhibition will be held August 15, 16 and 17th in historic downtown Helper, Utah.

  • There is no cost to apply for this competition. Up to three purchase awards will be given. Entry fees and awards will be supplemented by Festival sponsors, including a generous contribution by Conoco Phillips specifically for the promotion of fine art.

  • The Gallery Stroll will include professional artists with painting and sculpture demonstrations throughout the festival schedule. It is strongly suggested that selected artists attend the artist’s reception on Saturday, August 16 and, if time permits, to participate in the Gallery Stroll both festival evenings.
